I will write and deliver a bespoke wedding ceremony tailored entirely to you. The specific package and any additional elements will be confirmed at the time of booking.
A booking fee is required to secure your date. This fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, unless the date can be re-booked. The remaining balance is due 3 months before your ceremony date. If your booking is made within 3 months of the ceremony, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Your booking fee covers saving your date exclusively, two couple meetings, unlimited contact by message, and the writing of your bespoke ceremony. The balance covers travel on the day, set-up and delivery of the ceremony, and a commemorative copy of your ceremony script and certificate.
Any additional costs (such as props, extra meetings or extended travel) will only be incurred with your prior agreement.
Under current law in England and Wales, celebrant-led ceremonies are not legally binding. You will need a separate appointment with a registrar to legally register your marriage. I will guide you through this process, but all registrar fees are payable directly to your Local Authority.
If you cancel your booking, fees will only be retained for saving your date (if it cannot be re-booked) and for any work already completed. All other payments will be refunded in full, or held against an alternative date if you choose to rebook.
I will always do everything possible to be there on your day. In the unlikely event that I am prevented from attending by circumstances beyond my control, I will notify you as soon as possible and make every effort to arrange an alternative celebrant to deliver your ceremony from the same script. If no alternative can be found, you will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid.
You are responsible for the insurance of your own property and any items you provide for use during the ceremony. Any claim against me shall be limited to the value of this contract.
Any variations to these terms must be agreed in writing by both parties.
